GENERAL TERMS
- At the time of reservation, it is mandatory to communicate to guests the tour program and the general terms and obligations set out below. Miago Travel is not responsible for complaints that may arise despite the information provided. Our guest is deemed to have read and accepted all clauses in advance.
- Guests traveling with a Turkish Republic green passport must renew their passports if the date of issue is more than 10 years ago. Otherwise, they may not be admitted to the country they are visiting and/or their flight may not be operated by the airline from Turkey. In such a case, responsibility belongs to the passenger, and Miago Travel cannot be held responsible in any way.
- To avoid problems with customs police at the border of the country to be visited due to torn, worn, wet and/or otherwise damaged passports, such passports must be renewed; if the country requires a visa for Turkish Republic citizens, the relevant visa must be in the new passport. Otherwise, responsibility belongs to the passenger.
- Guest passports must be valid for a minimum of 6 months as of the return flight date. Otherwise, any resulting issue is the responsibility of the guests.
- Miago Travel acts as an intermediary between the passenger and the consulate. The consulate has the right to refuse to issue a visa when it deems necessary; Miago Travel bears no responsibility for the passenger's inability to obtain a visa. Miago Travel only undertakes the role of intermediary. Miago Travel has no liability or enforcement authority in personal visa applications. Consumers have registered for the tour by accepting these terms.
- When Miago Travel applies for a visa as an intermediary between the passenger and the consulate, the guest must check the accuracy of the information on the issued visa. Miago Travel is not responsible for any incorrect spelling on the visa or for any resulting issue that could prevent boarding.
- Under normal circumstances, obtaining the documents required by passengers who will apply for their own visas (hotel confirmation, flight ticket, etc.) takes 1 business day. Our guests must arrange their appointment dates and times accordingly. Otherwise, Miago Travel is not responsible for any possible disruptions.
- If the guest cancels their reservation and/or does not or cannot participate in the relevant tour, the visa fee and service fee will not be refunded. If the guest obtained their visa and visa service through the Miago Travel Visa department and this visa service was specified as an additional service in the travel agreement, and if Miago Travel cancels the relevant tour due to insufficient participation or another reason, the guest may receive a refund of the amount remaining after excluding the fees and similar amounts paid to the consulates for the visa, provided that they present their passport within no later than 1 week after the visa expiry date as proof that they did not use the visa. If the guest obtained their visa through their own means and/or with the assistance of a different visa intermediary company and Miago Travel cancels the relevant tour due to insufficient participation or another reason, no refund will be made to the guest.
- Routes may change depending on the city where the aircraft lands. The aircraft type and time may change, and since hotel availability may change during high season or special periods, another similar hotel may be provided. These circumstances were communicated at the time of contract, and THE PASSENGER PURCHASED THE TOUR BY ACCEPTING THE RISK OF TIME CHANGES AND HOTEL CHANGES.
- Triple rooms are provided subject to hotel availability. Triple rooms include an extra bed, and the third bed is smaller than a standard bed. Three separate beds cannot be guaranteed in triple rooms; if the hotel has a suitable room, the hotel will block it subject to availability.
- Child discounts are valid only for children staying with 2 adults.
- The breakfast served at hotels is continental breakfast, not Turkish breakfast. Continental breakfast consists of butter, jam or honey, bread, tea or coffee and fruit juice.
- Group breakfasts may be served in a separate room.
- During reservation/registration, the first and last name as stated in the passport used for travel, date of birth and passport number must be provided and entered into the system. Flight tickets are issued according to this information. Penalties for flight ticket cancellations or changes resulting from incorrect information are the guest's responsibility.
- Whether obtained from Miago Travel or not, our guests must have overseas travel and health insurance starting one day before the tour date and ending one day after the tour date, and must carry the relevant insurance policy with them. Guests who do not carry their travel insurance may be fined by the police of the relevant country. Responsibility for any such fine lies with our guests.
- Due to diplomatic relations between countries, having entered or exited certain countries may result in being unable to obtain a visa for one or more other countries or being unable to enter through a border gate. As this is outside Miago Travel' control, the parties acknowledge that Miago Travel bears no responsibility in such a case.
- Guests who do not wish to participate in tours conducted along the route for the purpose of providing the group with economic and time benefits agree to wait for the group at a nearby facility until the optional excursion ends. At the end of the excursion, our bus will pick up these guests and the tour will continue.
- Panoramic city tours are excursions organized to introduce the cities. City tours and optional excursions may be organized on different days provided that their content remains unchanged, or may not take place due to weather conditions. In such a case, Miago Travel is obliged to offer our valued guests the most suitable alternative possible. Optional tours are organized with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people. If sufficient participation is not achieved, the optional tours may not take place or the price may change.
- Excursions or tours that local authorities do not permit for any reason will not take place. Miago Travel cannot be held responsible if these excursions or tours cannot be conducted.
- The aircraft seats in our programs are group seats, and tickets are issued as a single round-trip ticket. If the outbound flight is missed and/or not used, the return flight may also be automatically cancelled. The airline's rules apply in such cases.
- Last-minute flight delays and gate changes are displayed on information boards/screens at airports. These details must be followed by passengers. If a flight is missed due to such a situation or personal reasons, the guest must obtain and pay for a new ticket themselves (if necessary, as a round-trip ticket according to the previous clause). In addition, they may partially or completely miss the first day's program because they missed the group's departure; responsibility in this case belongs to the guest. Furthermore, if they travel to the relevant city/country on a different flight from the group, the airport-city or airport-hotel transfer is the guest's responsibility.
- Guests wishing to upgrade their flight tickets using miles may do so only after the tickets have been issued and provided that there is availability on the relevant airline's flight. Since the aircraft seats in our programs are in a group class, before upgrading the requested ticket, it may be necessary to pay the difference specified by the airline and move the ticket from the group class to an economy class eligible for upgrade. Any resulting price difference is the guest's responsibility. Group tickets in our programs are issued a few days before the tour departure.
- To use your mobile phones abroad, before leaving Turkey you must check with your GSM operator whether your line is open to international calls/messaging.
- During your trip, when temporarily or completely leaving the means of transportation you use and the hotels where you stay, please make sure that you have taken all your belongings.
- Miago Travel may, in cases of force majeure or when deemed necessary, change the order of the cities in the program and/or the airline to be used without altering the content of the program.
- Miago Travel reserves the right to change hotel names provided that the category remains the same.
- Miago Travel is not responsible for items forgotten, lost or stolen during the tour.
- Children under the age of 18 must obtain a letter of consent from their father if traveling with their mother, from their mother if traveling with their father, and from both their mother and father if traveling with a third person. Miago Travel cannot be held responsible if the flight does not take place due to the absence of a letter of consent.
