Three hours before our flight, we meet at the Istanbul Airport International Terminal. After baggage and passport procedures, we depart for Santiago, the capital of Chile, on a direct Turkish Airlines flight. Our flight will last approximately 16 hours and is an overnight flight.
We arrive in Santiago, one of the most modern cities in South America, early in the morning. After our passport and baggage procedures, we transfer to the city center by private vehicle and, after a short rest, begin exploring the cultural and historical treasures of Chile. Our first stop is Plaza de Armas, the heart of the city. Next, the Metropolitan Cathedral, the La Moneda Presidential Palace and the San Cristóbal Hill, offering panoramic city views, await us. Bellavista, one of the most colorful districts of the city, with its art galleries, cafés and lively atmosphere, is one of the neighborhoods that best reflects the spirit of Santiago. We will also have the opportunity to see up close the area where Nobel Prize-winning poet Pablo Neruda lived. We have lunch at Mercado Central, one of Santiago's landmarks. After experiencing Chilean cuisine accompanied by fresh seafood from the Pacific Ocean, we check into our hotel. In the evening, guests who wish may enjoy time on the bustling streets of Bellavista.
