After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Seville. Along the way, guests who wish may additionally join a spectacularly arranged Toledo Tour (70 Euro). Located approximately 70 kilometers from Madrid, Toledo is a UNESCO-protected historic city that has been home to diverse cultures of the Iberian Peninsula, bearing traces of Roman, Visigothic, Muslim, and Christian civilizations. Renowned for its magnificent medieval architecture and cultural heritage, this open-air museum will take us through narrow historic streets where we will see Spain's oldest cathedral, the Toledo Cathedral (exterior), churches converted from Andalusian mosques, and countless other wonders. After our tour, we proceed to Écija. Upon arrival, our city tour begins. Écija is a historic city in southern Spain, located in the Andalusia region and belonging to the province of Seville. Often called "The Peacock of Andalusia" or "The City of Towers," Écija is famous for its rich Baroque architecture and magnificent historical buildings. Known as "Astigi" during the Roman era, it was one of the important centers of the Hispania Ulterior province. The city also became a significant cultural and economic center during the Umayyad period of Andalusia. Today, walking through Écija's streets, one can feel a historic atmosphere filled with elegant palaces, churches, and tall bell towers dating back to the Baroque period. Especially the Santa María and San Juan churches, dating from the 18th century, are among the finest examples of Baroque art. For travelers interested in history, art, and traditional Andalusian architecture, Écija is like a hidden gem waiting to be discovered. While strolling through the city's narrow streets, traces from both the Roman and Islamic periods can be found. After our tour, we head back to Seville. Upon arrival, our city tour begins. Seville is a city renowned for its historical and cultural richness in the Andalusia region of Spain. During our city tour along the banks of the Guadalquivir River, we will first visit Maria Luisa Park and Plaza de América, which includes the Plaza de España. We will then see the Seville Cathedral (exterior), the world's third-largest cathedral, which houses Christopher Columbus's tomb. Right next to the cathedral stands the Giralda Minaret, the last remaining part of the mosque upon which the cathedral was built, commemorating the Andalusian Umayyad Caliphate. Also on our list is the Alcazar Palace (exterior), the former palace of the Castilian kings. Later, passing through the Archives of the Indies, where records of all sea voyages to the Americas up to the 19th century were kept, we will reach the old narrow streets of the Santa Cruz neighborhood, known as "Old Seville." At the end of our walk, after seeing the Torre del Oro (Golden Tower)—formerly a tobacco factory, now serving as the central campus of the University of Seville and currently housing a maritime museum—we will transfer to our hotel. In the evening, guests who wish may additionally join a spectacularly arranged Flamenco Fire Tour (55 Euro). Seville is one of the birthplaces of flamenco and is considered one of the most important centers of Spanish flamenco culture. Although the origins of the town date back to Ancient Rome and even the Phoenicians, its current texture has largely been shaped during the Muslim period of Andalusia.
